20th Century Birthday.
Last Sunday was my birthday, 20th birthday. It was a good day to end a whole week of happiness and luckiness. I'm not expecting presents as a wish to me is good enough. Wishes that comes from family, cousins, bestie, the Ivans, Emily, Shakina, Nuraini. Thanks!
Well, the day was spent with family and cousins. It's a total amazing feeling that day. Not once did I think of unhappy moment that is ever happening in my life, except of course that night.

Here’s an update for this week. It's pretty boring story here. Days not being mentioned, it's work!
Monday: The initial plan was to go out with Nooraisha but I just backed out last minute like on Sunday night. Frankly speaking, I’m scared to go out with girls. I feel bad for doing so but if I have courage to go out with girls again, she will be one of the first few I would go out with. So, the day was used up for jamming/recording with Allen. We did his bass “solo” and then our recording of Idiot Pilot Red Museum. There aren’t any tabs at all but thanks to his great ears, we are able to record the verse and chorus for guitar and bass. Oh, as my Creative prodikeys failed on me, we decided to use the guitar as a backup keyboard. Not a good idea there but still we able to make something. And that means to get a need to get KORG nanoKEY.
Allen Jam: http://wearethelegokids.tumblr.com/post/508738114/not-a-good-recording-due-to-some-buzziness-because
Thursday: It’s graduation time! We got graduation robe with Yuhan at school. And oh, I get to taste the nasi lemak once again, but the sambal was different. Nonetheless, it was delicious! Went to Ang Mo Kio for a while before getting HELMET! It was at Kelantan Lane and if not for iPhone maps, I would have gotten lost trying to find it. Tempted to buy a full-face helmet but how the ISO not sure can pass inspection, just got myself a half-face with scrambler kind of peak. I know you all don’t understand but just see picture below. As it was near City Square, visit old colleagues and girlfriend wasn’t there. I’m sad because she must have quit because I no longer work there because I was transferred to IMM and so that must be the reason she quit. Hahaha! Okay, to print stickers that are clear I need to pay $30 because they came in size of A2 only and that means there is more design for me to decorate on the helmet. So far I’ve got “The System” logo, “LOSERKDIS” and the number 58. I need more ideas people! Shoot them! Shoot them out! And end the day with theory lesson before going Johor.

Friday: Work before meeting SRT members for a short soccer. And I found out Malcolm Mclaren passed away on Thursday. SAD MAN! I will be looking forward to his biography book. All about his great punk iconic stuff. Gonna be great!

Albums of 2009
I was reading a music website called Spin. And there was this news on Mark Hoppus’ 8 Favorite Albums of 2009. So, I decided to do one as well.
Albums of 2009:
The Academy Is…, Lost In Pacific Time: The AP/EP.
Amber Pacific, Amber Pacific.
Broadway, Kingdom.
Closure in Moscow, First Temple.
Dance Gavin Dance, Happiness.
Eyes Set to Kill, The World Outside.
Hopeless, Dear World.
Hopes Die Last, Six Years Home.
I See Stars, 3D.
Meg & Dia, Here, Here and Here.
Owl City, Ocean Eyes.
Paramore, Brand New Eyes.
Saosin, In Search of Solid Ground.
Silverstein, Shipwreck in the Sand.
A Skylit Drive, Adelphia.
Stages and Stereos, Maybe We'll Make It After All.
Texas in July, I Am.
The Vampirates, Cast Aside.
Various Artist, Punk Goes Pop 2.
We Came as Romans, To Plant a Seed.
Top 5 Albums of 2009:
1) Broadway, Kingdom.

I says, “If you are starting out on hardcore/screamo, this is the band for you. It's heavy with clean vocals and once a while screamo.
2) Stages and Stereos, Maybe We'll Make It After All.

I says, “They are not that big, but worth to listen to. Watch out though, all the songs in this album are about love!"
3) Paramore, Brand New Eyes.

I says, “Paramore produce songs that are catchy and this album have that, once again. They do give something new but I prefer Riot! album.
4) We Came as Romans, To Plant a Seed.

I says, “Somehow, I think that this album have the same kind of playing style as Broadway, only that We Came as Romans is much heavier and lots of screaming. Check them out only if you want something more heavily than Broadway.”
5) A Skylit Drive, Adelphia.

I says, “A unique band whereby the vocals is in high pitch and a hardcore band with synthesizer. This album is different from previous albums is that more synthesizers prominent which make certain songs stand out.
6) Silverstein, Shipwreck in the Sand.

I says, “Something different being done this time by Silverstein. They use a theme for this album. And they seem to be getting heavier than previous albums.
P.s. I said Top 5 albums of 2009 but there are 6 above. Because all of them worth to be mention.

The Epic Journey for Lens.
How far would it take for you to find things that you might be interested?
Okay, I don't know how to answer that but I travel from Admiralty to Toa Payoh just to find camera lens. And in the end, didn't buy a single lens.
Have to thank Wayne for accompanying me to different place. Oh, our destination shop was Cash Converter and it was at Ang Mo Kio and Toa Payoh. Actually, I went to Admiralty and none of the lens was to my interest until Wayne suggested going Ang Mo Kio. Here's a stupid part, we reached there and the shop was doing stock checking. And Ang Mo Kio Cash Converter is the only place with tons of lens as mentioned by Wayne. Chill at Mac Donald to show him one lens selling by one forumer of Club Snap which is being sold to another person in the end. I REALLY LOVE THAT LENS! BLOODY HELL!
Next suggestion by him was Toa Payoh. And we like real want to walk from Ang Mo Kio to Toa Payoh. Half-way the journey from Ang Mo Kio to Bishan already exhausted me out and billions of vulgarity sure came out of my mouth. Haha! In the end, just took bus 88 from Bishan to Toa Payoh. For 30 minutes of the journey, we only stay there for 5 minutes because there isn't any lens there. Our epic journey ended there before departing.
The lens I'm interesed in: Cosina 28mm f2.8.

And see the effect it produces!

Before I end this post, something I was thinking while riding back home. What makes me different from all Mats out there; even though I have a bike while outside with friends, I will leave that bike and go with my friends taking public transport. So, what I want to say is that Mats will always be with their bike wherever they went.
But, I do hope that you all understand me that I am in fact joking here. Because there is two possibilities, either I am stupid that I rather take public transport over bike just for friend(s) or I am just being an ass for thinking this way about people that like to ride bike.
Peace out!

Karimah Leaving for Philippines...

Right now, I still can't accept the fact that Karimah have went back to Philippines. It’s like the memories of her at the airport is being erased and it's like it didn't happen at all. I know there’s the proof of the pictures and a video we took, but still, I can't feel that it had happened just now at 4.30 in the morning. The memories of us talking, laughing, taking pictures, doing a video and bidding the last farewell, is like totally fake. I'm also sad that I didn't get to give her the ‘stone' before she enters that gate.
Yesterday and today morning, I kept dreaming of her. A dream whereby it's the last time we were seeing each other.
And each time I received a message or call today, I was hoping it would be her, but it wasn't. I want to know that she is safe and sound back home in Philippines.
I regret that I didn't get to do what I wanted to do, that is to hang out with her. I kept delaying and delaying and in the end, we didn't get to hang out except the last hang out with the colleagues on Monday.
Her last message send was, “thx 4 d frndshp.. I really gonna miss you..”

Friends since at 6pm, on Thursday, 15 October 2009.

Farewell Karimah.
In 3 hours times, I will be at the airport, preparing to send Karimah back home to Philippines. And at that point of time, I know deep inside my heart, I will be crying.
Even though I know her like only for 2 months and a half, she’s like a great person to talk with. This is because how she is a Philippine, but a Muslim Philippine. I constantly like to ask her about Philippine, their school, shopping, life and I like to disturb her with some Muslim stuff where she won’t really entertain me with it. And not forgetting, she disturbs me with Janson.
But, I am trying to plan visiting Philippine in March to watch Paramore and who knows, Karimah can bring me go around Manila. All I have to do right now is get more people to go with me, save money and by January, plan and book the tickets and rooms. I’m looking forward to this planning!

Accident!
Today, I just had my first "accident".
It was green light and I was going in-between the cars, before this cyclist just came out suddenly. Used too much jam break on my front brake and the bike just fall to the right side. But gladly, it wasn't such a bad fall because I managed to fall standing up. I told myself, "That guy is okay, my bike is okay, so continue to school!"
Strange, I don't know why for today I want to wear short pants so badly. Then, before leaving house, my grandma keep reminding me to take care on the way to school. And lastly, before the accident happen, I kept telling myself that I should turn back home before I knew it, the accident happen.
My "pretty" leg. Not for weak-hearted:

One of the reason I like working at Andersen is probably because I am able to meet new people. At the same time, it can be easily say that it's not only referring to customers, but to my colleague as well.
It can be said that Andersen is an "international" working place. We have people from China, Indonesia, Malaysia and Philippines. I've made lots of friends like Siaw Ling, Azenith, Eka and Ayu.
But when certain time is up, they have to leave Andersen to go back to their own country. I mean, it's like they are going back there and not coming back here again. So, it's SUPER SAD!
And what is the chance of contacting them? Call? E-mail?
Right now, the situation is this, coming 31 December, it will be my last day working with my colleague from Philippines, Karimah. And then, in like February, it's Yao Hua turn. So, it's like f-up feeling to know and see them go soon.
The plan right now, I'm going to get their contact own country contact number, house address, e-mail and so on, so that we can keep in-contact and who knows, I can visit them after I work.

After working with these two people for two days straight, I have to say... It was so much fun.

Someone disturb me when I was about to go and fall asleep at 1.50pm yesterday. But glad to say that it was my lebanese partner, MANDY OH MANDY!
We didn't chat for long, just get to know about each other life. She changed a lot, particularly her looks! The last time saw her was few months ago, at Suntec Andersen when she was with Nani and with her "lil brownish goldie colored hair". And now she look SUPER AH LIAN! Haha!
Here's the part where I am going to bluff, she said, "Azely, YOU ARE SO MUCH HANDSOME NOW! And not forgetting, COOL!"
But the epic part is that she said I didn't changed at all and I can pass off for being a secondary school boy. She also mentioned about how I "maintain" my looks, that youthful look. She mentioned how my cheekbones or jaw bones is all defined and how I look chubby last time. Haha! Now is the part I'm going to say that I am happy because a person say I am much younger than my age.

I so miss Mandy Oh Mandy!

This is me, 3 years ago!
P.s. I don't know she will read or not. But still, I wanna post about her.

Right now, I'm really, really tired and all sleepy already, but I'm still going to update.
Today was Sound Design and EXCITING! We are finally on some practical, that is to record sounds and the theme was Horrific. So what else, we tried to make some ghost like story. And not forgetting, amazing team I got because there is AZEELA! And Berry and Pearlyn. Lazy to elaborate, I will just let you all listen. Oh yah, just a warning, it's good to listen not at night, can be pretty scary near the endings. Don't worry, the video is all black because I don't have any video to use and there isn't any website that allow me to host songs, or I am just lazy to find. So, BE AFRAID!
Hmm... My tongue is sick right now. It is in pain because I got 4 freaking teeth holes below my tongue! And that is only like the minimum I can count. One of the hole is still bleeding up till now even though it took place yesterday. Just a brief explanation, there are 2 holes at the outer side of the tongue, both left and right. And the other 2 is near the veins there, still the same, both left and right.
I think I bite my tongue because of my dream. I remembered I do dream about some were-pire. But, I didn't bite anyone, so that doesn't give my teeth the right to bite my tongue. I'm fine when I am eating but when I am drinking water, it is SUPERULTRAPAINFUL! OHHH!!! The 2 holes near the veins there, it seems like the "skin" is somesort of peel off from my tongue. And it made me wonder howwill my tongue get cured? I mean, it's always wet and not like when your skin get hurt, it can be dried up.
Before I end, imagine this; You coming home tired from work, get your food and sit on the table. And on the table, you saw the picture below:

What would you feel? I just do hope you all understand the picture.

Back at Andersen, New Andersen
TODAY WAS PRETTY A GOOD DAY!
I've been busy with school with the lessons that are EXCITING which ended up with me not being able to update my story. That is why my last three stories is filled with pictures.
So anyway, I've started working again, AT ANDERSEN. I know I might sound want and will quit Andersen, in any of my previous post, but I didn't. However, I did try to find a new job, tried Coffeebean and Swensens at West Mall, but no luck. But luckily, Nurul, my new supervisor asked if I would like to work with her at Andersen new outlet, which I shouldn't disclosed where.
I "started" on Thursday, which isn't supposed to be the day I should start working. I came there and Nurul was like, "You're not suppose to work today. It's tomorrow, Friday." And I was like, okay, that is so stupid of me. But still, she asked me to work in order to get the drift of the working place.
So far the work was as usual as Suntec but here, it's pretty empty because, hint number 1 of where I work, it's a new mall and only half of the mall shops is open. BUT, it seems like I am able to bring up the sales for yesterday. Well, people are there to see the new "handsome" staff of Andersen. Okay, hint number 2 of where I work, it's the first eco mall in Singapore.
OH, not forgetting, I'm working back again with Yao Hua, who used to work at Suntec with me, before she goes to Parkway Parade and Square 2.
AND ONCE AGAIN, I HELL OF A LOT LIKE TODAY! IT WAS A GREAT HANGOUT.
This is Yao Hua.

Nurul, Yao Hua & Me!
