This is Me!

I’m a kid of age 20.

I love music and do anything from listening, watching, playing, recording, etc. I would like to be a rockstar, rockstar of my own world. My music taste range could be anything. At one moment, it’s hardcore and next could be electronica. But one thing for sure, blink-182 is and always will be my favorite band, for maybe the next coming 5 years.

Other things that I like to do are hanging out with friends, be it at the playground, coffee shop or far end of the country. Not forgetting, being with my family is also the best thing. So, yeah!

I have a passion to be in the media industry. I would like to be either a cameraman or a video-editor. Anyone would do but I think I rather go ahead with video-editor. This is hard to achieve but if I could be a Front-of-House engineer, it would be awesome. And other than that, I could be a kid riding around taking photograph. Each picture could explain my thought, feeling, emotion and just so random, you though it could be the previous three available choices.

Before I end, I thank you for visiting my blog. It’s entirely up to you to read and not at all. This blog is created more as an online diary for me, to remind me what I did today, what I did yesterday or what I did years ago. And after I said that, only then can I say that some parts are going to be boring and you will skip them. Oh, to further understand me, just head down to one of the links below.

And here’s how I’m going to end this profile section;
I’m a narcissist kid with a gay attitude.

 Stick Stickly
I just checked out this band, Attack Attack, on Modlife. Their song Stick Stickly, at 2.44, is so TAK PERLU (not require). I mean, what the heck is techno-like music in there. Whatever it is, they are cool because there is a screamo, but too much. Not my type.

 Somebody Else's Arms

I’ve wanted write about this story since like the past two months, after I came back from my Port Dickson holiday. I keep holding it back because I just don’t know what is holding me back, maybe because I’m just lazy. And so, at this 5am in the morning, I am writing this.

I just want to maybe introduce about this band, Armor for Sleep. Hmm… They sound cool to me, in their music of course, and not their names. I was quite lucky to get hold of their album a few days before I left for my Port Dickson trip and put them inside my handphone, even though I’ve haven’t heard it before. So, on the way there listen to their album and found their songs to be… Is nice the word? Okay, I should put them as emo nice, because the lead singer looks like an emo. HaHa!

Their latest album, Smile for Them, made me realize something about someone while I was at Port Dickson. There is this particular song, made me keep repeating over and over again while I was at there. I don’t know whether it is the lyric or what, but it made me thinking of “HER” and it is my feelings at that time. So, what is that song name?

It is called, Somebody Else’s Arms.

I got no link for the song, but just watch from the video.

Armor for Sleep - Somebody Else's Arms

Saw you laughing aloud to your friends when I was across the room,
I was across the room.
I sick of standing alone when you’re here.
Who’s good enough for you?
Who’s good enough for you?

Well it’s only love it’s not real anyways.
You’re gonna die in somebody else’s arms.
And I have to live with that.
You’re gonna die in somebody else’s arms.
And I have to live with that.
Well I hope you have a good life, hope you have a good life.
Well I hope you have a good life, hope you have a good life.

And I’ll say "Send me a card when you can, to where you think you should be.
"Are where you think you should be?
Too bad, you’re missing the boat and I’m gone.
Call me when you come around.
Will you call me when you come around?

Well it’s only love it’s not real anyways.
You’re gonna die in somebody else’s arms.
And I have to live with that.
You’re gonna die in somebody else’s arms.
And I have to live with that.
Well I hope you have a good life, hope you have a good life.
Well I hope you have a good life, hope you have a good life.

I’ll be happy to see you happy, if it’s with me or without me around.
I’ll be happy to see you happy, if it’s with me or without me around.

There’s too much, too much I know I’ll never say.
Please take me back, please take me back.

But you’re gonna die in somebody else’s arms,
And I have to live with that. You’re gonna die in somebody else’s arms,
And I have to live with that. (I have to live)
Well I hope you have a good life, hope you have a good life. [x4]

 Start the Machine
Yesterday, I watched Start the Machine, a documentary by Angels and Airwaves. Just a thing to say, a well explained documentary about blink-182 break-up (IT IS IMPORTANT TO THE FANS) and the story of Angels and Airwaves like how it all started, leaked of We Don’t Need to Whisper and so on. Anyway, I’m just lazy to explain things; you all just have to go find the video yourself either by downloading, torrent, buying or anything, because I won’t be sharing. Yes, I AM STINGY.

 Bands, Movies and DVDs!
This few days, I’ve been watching a lot of DVDs, like live bands and movies. Oh well, I might as well used up this time to see them before school starts NEXT WEEK! Let’s cut things short, I’ll tell what I watched.

Saosin - Come Close (Live Album)

This DVD is so HARDCORE. Well, what you expected from Saosin, a band that is hardcore. I loved the guitar riff, guitar solo and the sound of the bass guitar. But, what I found out is that for live, their screaming isn’t really that great as the album. I guess a lot of band screaming during live isn’t the same as their album.

Muse - H.A.A.R.P

H.A.A.R.P stands for High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program, a name given by vocalist Matthew Bellamy (known for his interest in global conspiracies and the New World Order Conspiracy which influences the band's music) has suspicions of. This DVD totally blows me away. I truly love Muse more and more now. I finally know why they win awards for the best live show, is it? Supermassive Black Hole is the song that I totally don’t like at first but after seeing the DVD, it is rather a cool song. WOAH! And the thing that shocks me is Matthew Bellamy guitar. It is totally awesome and way out then I could ever imagine.

Matthew Bellamy Guitar!

Poseidon

Let’s just say that I watched this movie after I seen their making the movie. Oh yah, the movie is quite scary if what happened in the movie were to happen to you.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, a movie which I have watched like more than 3 times and never got bored of it. Even though it’s like mostly CGI, I still appreciate the movie. I can’t wait to see The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian which will be out on 16 May.

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

Bridge to Terabithia

I loved this show, the story plot and because of a girl, AnnaSophia Robb. The story plot is about fantasy once again, like The Chronicles of Narnia, but at least the show got about real life as well and not only about fantasy. I strongly encourage you all check out the movie. It did bring a little sadness at the end of the movie. Anyway, I’m interested in the girl AnnaSophia Robb, in acting and singing way. In case you all don’t know who she is, she act as Violet Beauregarde, the girl that having broken a world record by chewing the same piece of gum for three months solid.

Violet Beauregarde

In singing way, just check out the video below. I just loved the song. ENJOY!

Motion City Soundtrack - Even If It Kills Me

Yikes! I’m like little bit happy because MOTION CITY SOUNDTRACK new album, EVEN IF IT KILLS ME is finally OUT! Yippee! After long months of waiting, it is finally out. Oh yeah, the album just came out yesterday, 18 September. And, I was so bad as to download it from some website. I will just give some brief information about this album. All of the information is grabbed from Wikipedia though.

Even If It Kills Me is the third studio album by pop punk band Motion City Soundtrack, released on September 18, 2007.

Part of the record is co-produced by the tag team of Adam Schlesinger (of Fountains of Wayne) and Eli Janney (of Girls Against Boys), and part of the record will be produced by Ric Ocasek (of The Cars). Guest vocals on the album include Max Bemis of Say Anything, Rachel Minton of Zolof the Rock and Roll Destroyer and Shawn Harris of The Matches. The band did their final recording and mixing during early Spring 2007 in New York.

The band has been producing webisodes on the making of the album. These webisodes can be viewed at the website http://evenifitkillsme.tv/.

The first single off the album, "Broken Heart", was released worldwide through all digital outlets on June 26. A video for the single is available to watch at their official website or on their street team website.

The second single, "This Is for Real", was released on August 7, 2007 in the US and on September 3 in the UK. The single was released digitally, on CD and on limited edition 7" vinyl, and included three different b-sides: "Not Asking You To Leave", an acoustic version of "Broken Heart" (featuring Korin Louise Cox of The Hard Lessons on vocals), and a cover of the Lifter Puller song "Plymouth Rock". The band shot a video for "This Is for Real" in Southern California in August 2007, which premiered on mtvU.com on September 10.

 Modest Mouse
A unique band that I would like to introduce is… Modest Mouse. I know most of you haven’t heard of that band before. Well, don’t worry; they are going to be known in Singapore, that’s what I guess. This is because, while watching MTV, I saw this advertisement saying that MTV going to tell more about Modest Mouse. This is because Modest Mouse just released a new album entitled, We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank. Their album is already out, so to those who wants to know new band, why don’t you listen to their songs. Below is a song called Float On, a single by their last album.

Link for Float On:
http://www.orbitfiles.com/download/id1432617859

Here's the Lyric:

I backed my car into a cop car the other day
Well he just drove off sometimes life's ok
I ran my mouth off a bit too much oh what did I say
Well you just laughed it off it was all ok

And we'll all float on ok
And we'll all float on ok
And we'll all float on ok
And we'll all float on any way well

Well, a fake Jamaican took every last dime with that scam
It was worth it just to learn from sleight-of-hand
Bad news comes don't you worry even when it lands
Good news will work its way to all them plans
We both got fired on the exactly the same day
Well we'll float on good news is on the way

And we'll all float on ok
And we'll all float on ok
And we'll all float on ok
And we'll all float on alright
Already we'll all float on
Now don't you worry we'll all float on
Alright already we'll all float on
Alright don't worry we'll all float on

And we'll all float on alright
Already we'll all float on
Aliright don't worry even if things end up a bit to heavy
We'll all float on alright
Already we'll all float on
Alright already we'll all float on
Ok don't worry we'll all float on
Even if things get heavy we'll all float on
Alright already we'll all float on
Don't you worry we'll all float on
All float on

 Dolores O'Riordan
To those fans of The Cranberries, well, guess what. Dolores O'Riordan, the singer of The Cranberries is back with her solo album. Her new solo album is entitled Are You Listening? I’m so excited to hear all the songs from her album. But, isn’t it sad that it is The Cranberries new album. Anyway, if you all watch MTV, you all could get to watch her first single that is Ordinary Day. The song is actually song and I don’t really like slow song. However, I wish that her album will have some fast track instead of all being slow track. So, for all The Cranberries fans, look out for her album which will be released in the month of May.
