This is Me!

I’m a kid of age 20.

I love music and do anything from listening, watching, playing, recording, etc. I would like to be a rockstar, rockstar of my own world. My music taste range could be anything. At one moment, it’s hardcore and next could be electronica. But one thing for sure, blink-182 is and always will be my favorite band, for maybe the next coming 5 years.

Other things that I like to do are hanging out with friends, be it at the playground, coffee shop or far end of the country. Not forgetting, being with my family is also the best thing. So, yeah!

I have a passion to be in the media industry. I would like to be either a cameraman or a video-editor. Anyone would do but I think I rather go ahead with video-editor. This is hard to achieve but if I could be a Front-of-House engineer, it would be awesome. And other than that, I could be a kid riding around taking photograph. Each picture could explain my thought, feeling, emotion and just so random, you though it could be the previous three available choices.

Before I end, I thank you for visiting my blog. It’s entirely up to you to read and not at all. This blog is created more as an online diary for me, to remind me what I did today, what I did yesterday or what I did years ago. And after I said that, only then can I say that some parts are going to be boring and you will skip them. Oh, to further understand me, just head down to one of the links below.

And here’s how I’m going to end this profile section;
I’m a narcissist kid with a gay attitude.

So last Sunday, when I reached home, my mum asked this, "You coming back home also want to sing is it?"

Obviously, I was "singing" which I usually do on the way back from the car park till I reach my void deck. My term of "singing" here means to make some screamo sound, which I obviously fail. And imagine this, I don't live on high floor, but my mum can hear me "sing"! So that means, my neighbor also can hear me sing! SO PAISEH LAR SEH!Today, just did some vocal recording. I'm trying to apply for the position screamo vocalist here for the band please. So, listen to my demo and give comments. Haha! Oh yah, credits to Underoath for the song Reinventing Your Exit.

The vocal is clean here. No added effect or maybe just a compressor.

For this one, I used the microphone effect. And I really like this one.

RECORDING IS SUCH A BITCH! IT IS SO FREAKING HARD, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE TRYING TO SYNC IT WITH A FULL COMPLETE SONG. I WASTED 4 HOURS TRYING TO RECORD. THE END PRODUCT IS SHITTY!

Maybe I need a good recording software. Audacity sure sucks.

I was really bored. So, I decided to make some videos of me playing the guitar.

+44 - When Your Heart Stops Beating

This is the first song that started me to record these videos. I was making somesort of crap intro of WHYSB and decided I should just recorded for fun.

blink-182 - Stay Together for the Kids

I just learnt this song and decided to try it out.

blink-182 - Always

Ah, my faourite one. This song makes me recorded it like multiple times because even a slight mistake, I want to re-recorded it. It is also quite hard because I played like almost the whole song only that I cut some parts shoter to save time. I can't play it that well but I still think it's good.

Angels and Airwaves - The Adventure

I want to end the recordings at Always but I decided to record this because it's not fair that I played WHYSB and never played this song. This is the only song that only take one shot of recording because it's easy to play. And I didn't play using distortion because I forgot to turn it on.

 Carousel Intro (Solo Record)
Guess what? I can finally play blink-182 – Carousel intro! Carousel is blink-182 first song to make by them and the intro is hard to play on the bass I tell you. But, after how many months of playing and learning new skills, I manage to do it. Yes! And, I also did a recording of the intro for you all to hear. Sorry if it sounds sucks because once again, I’M PROFESSIONALLY SUCKS.

When Your Heart Stops Beating (Solo Record)
Once again, I just made a new category and it is called “Record”. In this category, anything that is associates with recording will be post here.

So, I just finished recording When Your Heart Stops Beating using my classical guitar. I used Audacity to record both the guitar parts. However, there isn’t any bass, vocal or drum. Let my strumming expressed the song. Okay, I shouldn’t say that because if you all heard it, then you all might understand. Anyway, it isn’t that bad and it’s only one third of the song. So, download my recording and get ready for your ear to bleed!

By the way, I don’t know what’s up with the rhythm guitar as it contains some effect when I didn’t use any effect. But, it still sounds cool!

P.S. Paula, why don’t you try listen to it?
