I’m a kid of age 20.

I love music and do anything from listening, watching, playing, recording, etc. I would like to be a rockstar, rockstar of my own world. My music taste range could be anything. At one moment, it’s hardcore and next could be electronica. But one thing for sure, blink-182 is and always will be my favorite band, for maybe the next coming 5 years.

Other things that I like to do are hanging out with friends, be it at the playground, coffee shop or far end of the country. Not forgetting, being with my family is also the best thing. So, yeah!

I have a passion to be in the media industry. I would like to be either a cameraman or a video-editor. Anyone would do but I think I rather go ahead with video-editor. This is hard to achieve but if I could be a Front-of-House engineer, it would be awesome. And other than that, I could be a kid riding around taking photograph. Each picture could explain my thought, feeling, emotion and just so random, you though it could be the previous three available choices.

Before I end, I thank you for visiting my blog. It’s entirely up to you to read and not at all. This blog is created more as an online diary for me, to remind me what I did today, what I did yesterday or what I did years ago.  Well, I guess this is growing up.

2 months ago, a story was written. It's a story about Benjamin, Gabriel, Hasif & Ivan Lim growing from adolescent to adulthood, in my own terms. They are now serving the nation. But when is my turn?

The answer is tomorrow, 3rd of August. I'm looking forward to it, to be all ‘botak’, be discipline and to grow from adolescent to adulthood. It is best to say that today is the end of schooling age and it is time for working age tomorrow. I don't know when will I ever step into the schooling age, which I hope I will, else this age is going to stick to me till the day that I'm probably old and retired or till the day that I die. 


For now, let's just say, “Full steam ahead of National Service for this next two years!”

 My Last Summer.

Enough say, this one last week of holiday was and have been a great one. I've been able to catch up with stuff, meet up lots of friends and prepared myself: 

Tuesday was the “last supper” for the DIDM. We had dinner at Fish & Co, Marina Square before Esplanade. There were lots of smile, laughter and memory photos being taken. It's the gathering before we'll be able to see each other again soon enough and the last time the boys will be with hair. The next gathering it will full of boys with ‘botak’.

Wednesday. MINDFUCK with Inception with Shakina! Well, before the movie, I just headed to City Square to meet up with Yao Hua, and maybe thought Fei Ting and ex-GF but they weren't working. But there's this Louis guy who came at wrong time and spoiled everything. My time with the colleagues there was cut short as not to put them into troubles with Louis being there. And it was movie at Vivo with Shakina. Catch up with stuff, here and there, okay or not okay, watch Inception (with me constantly and probably disturbing her with the cold thing) having the last Long John Silver.

Thursday… Hmm… I think I've forgotten what I did that day. The only thing I know I did was to head IMM to meet the colleague and it seems Auntie Annie is the only one there with the new colleague. No Xiao Hong that day. And there was a brief chat with the neighbor talking about NS, work and life. Can I just say it's bored for that Thursday?

Friday was all about hangout, hangout and HANGOUT! Surprisingly, I'm able to hangout with both the Chinese and Malay side on the very same night. Late 8pm was picnic with Sakinah Bestie, Humairah, Hafiez, Hasif & Johan at West Coast Part. Fried mee, fried chickens, drinks and lots of tidbits. Talked & games and it was sad that the day had to end early because of Humairah curfew. We do get to meet Khairul after that. So, when is the Chinese side? It was right at 12 midnight at our favorite place, Al-Ameen.  It was all purely NS life, the, roti prata and murtabak and lots of story. And that is the last time I'm going to see them until my next book out which is next Friday, 13^th August.

Saturday was spent with family a trip to Malaysia, Jusco, shopping and having lunch together at Pizza Hut. This is like the last time before another complete dinner due to my leave. Yes, this is sad. Anyway, another half of the day was spent with the band mates. It's been a long time ever since we jam together as Ivan Lim had to serve the country. It may not be that good and tight as I expected us to be but nonetheless, it was great! And not forgetting Haiza helping out taking photos and videos and her hangout, it makes it livelier, the good old times that I remember. Credits to Fifi for drumming with us for a while there.

Sunday. Just a short father-side-relative meeting and meet my grandma for the last time. But the rest of the day was spent at home together. And I had to get ready all my stuff and put them at one corner!


So, that's my last 6 days of my holiday. Today Monday, all I did was check my stuff, print documents, cleaning/keeping/clearing away stuff in my room and last time spent with family. And maybe at night, there will be ‘lepaking’ with the Malay boys for the last time. I've got to mention this, need to meet up with that Hafiez boy, my lepaking and Johor buddy.
