This is Me!

I’m a kid of age 20.

I love music and do anything from listening, watching, playing, recording, etc. I would like to be a rockstar, rockstar of my own world. My music taste range could be anything. At one moment, it’s hardcore and next could be electronica. But one thing for sure, blink-182 is and always will be my favorite band, for maybe the next coming 5 years.

Other things that I like to do are hanging out with friends, be it at the playground, coffee shop or far end of the country. Not forgetting, being with my family is also the best thing. So, yeah!

I have a passion to be in the media industry. I would like to be either a cameraman or a video-editor. Anyone would do but I think I rather go ahead with video-editor. This is hard to achieve but if I could be a Front-of-House engineer, it would be awesome. And other than that, I could be a kid riding around taking photograph. Each picture could explain my thought, feeling, emotion and just so random, you though it could be the previous three available choices.

Before I end, I thank you for visiting my blog. It’s entirely up to you to read and not at all. This blog is created more as an online diary for me, to remind me what I did today, what I did yesterday or what I did years ago. And after I said that, only then can I say that some parts are going to be boring and you will skip them. Oh, to further understand me, just head down to one of the links below.

And here’s how I’m going to end this profile section;
I’m a narcissist kid with a gay attitude.

 Is this Punk?

Few days back, me and Xiao Hong were talking about money or moral issues at work. And from that talk, I finally understand why Malays are good at being a pun. This is no racial issue, just that my point of view about punks in Singapore.

As we live in Singapore, we probably know that most punks, not gangsters, are mostly Malays. This is because we have this characteristic to be one, a good one at. I have read about 3 to 5 books about punks and from what I understand; punk is about not following the authority or basically, not following how the norm people are always doing. It’s about breaking from that and doing what we believe instead of what the higher authority says we should be doing.

So, the issue with me and Xiao Hong was this: There is this man who came for a tea-time promotion at 12.30pm and dumb me forgetting that it only starts at 2.30pm went and serve him. That man decided to leave at 1pm and thus, Xiao Hong, not me, don’t allowed giving the tea-time promotion and he had to pay a full price. Let’s say instead of $5, he needs to pay $9. I admit it was my fault but obviously seeing the full price the man got a bit mad. If this we in YOUR shoes, what would you do?

Here’s where I think punk attitude came in. For me, I would just wait until 2.30pm and key in the price at $5 for the tea-time. BUT, for Xiao Hong, she would die-die wants the man to pay the $9. In the end, I just take the tea-time price and wait for 2.30pm before keying in the money. And thus the whole day, Xiao Hong was PMS with me.
What I am trying to say is that instead of choosing choice A, I would try to find another way to get around it, either choice B or C. But for Xiao Hong, she will keep sticking to choice A no matter. She just had to follow what she was told, by the higher authority of course.

My conclusion for this post is that we Malays had this attitude of breaking the law but at the end, we somehow get the same thing done, only in bad way. And I think because of this attitude, other races don’t really like us, that’s what Xiao Hong tell me. Or maybe it’s just that she’s from China and their mind concept is different from us Singaporeans. Oh well…

 Take This!

A great day spent for today and yesterday. Well, I can just say that it’s mostly lepak-ing session. For yesterday, afternoon was spent with Ivan Lim, Gabriel and Nani. And at night, it was with the SRT boys, at the Haji Lane with them sheesha-ing except for me. As for today, afternoon at 3 was with DIDM peoples taking photos at the new Marina Bridge before heading to Esplanade. Dinner with family would always be great which is being taken at Al-Ameen before Bar Bar Black Sheep with the Gay Boys, except for Gabriel, and the girls like Tsing Xiu, Felicia, Ivan Chew Girlfriend and Agnes, Felicia friend. (Okay, I guess there’s too much name elaboration and it’s not needed.)

What I want to talked about right now is the fight I had on Thursday with a colleague, Lynette. The fight is about how she works, once a week or none, how she always works 10 to 4, not on weekends and even if it is, it’s because of holiday. This doesn’t only apply to her, but to the other part-timer, Shu Hua. So, that’s the problem which I talked to with the full-timers, Auntie Annie and Xiao Hong. However, this Xiao Hong as usual with her PMS, decided to message them asking to work 4 to 10 and saying me and Auntie Annie isn’t happy with that. And on that Thursday, I had the fight with Lynette. I explained my side and she explained her side. The reason she can’t work is she had exam and I tell at her face that I understand. And she obviously still wasn’t happy that I understand with her situation and she kept on saying stuff until there is this point.

Her:  “You like to talk behind my back right. You like me to call you ‘Bastard’ behind your back?”
Me:  “Go ahead, say that to my face even better!”
Her: “Okay, you’re a bastard.”
Me: “Thank you. I like that. Could you say once again?”
Her: “BASTARD!”
Me: “Wow, can you say again, please.”
Her: “Again.”
Me: “How about giving me other vulgarities, please?”
Her: “…”

So, in the end, she just stunned there and can’t say anything before Auntie Annie asked her to go home. After that fight, I felt soooo good that I managed to make her look like a dog and a fool out of herself. Oh well, she’s a university student. She fcuk-ing deserved that!

P.s. I’m a good kid unless you treat badly to me; I would be a bad kid.

I came back home, went to my room and I saw the letter, letter by NTU. Oh well, it’s a letter of reject which means I don’t get to be in ADM. And that means I should try again next year with better portfolio which can and MUST stun the interviewer. These can only be achieving if I start moving my ass to get some video-ing done. And guess what, I should skip this Wednesday and Thursday shooting with DIDM Production because of full shift work. Super shucks for me! Boo!

Today work was sucks once again. Time was moving slow and better still, I need to work full-shift with Xiao Hong. I don’t mind working with her but the thing I hate is that she will get this random PMS with black face. If you’re someone I’m close or who I like, I don’t mind entertaining that black face. But fcuk, know what? She’s just a colleague and no way am I going to entertain that kind of attitude. So, in the end, I turned black face as well and I didn’t talk to her from 2 pm until closing.
My problem here is that if you turned black face and PMS, at least do tell me what wrong have I done so that I at least understand rather than keep asking myself what I did wrong. If I like you, yeah you can give the black face and I will keep saying sorry to you and follow you around. But for this case, it’s a fcuking big no for me.

I’m done; done learning Tears Don’t Fall song, which includes the solo part, even though it’s not that hard for the bass. That means I can play Tears Don’t Fall and Heart Burst into Fire with the latter need more practice. Next is to master My Fist, Your Mouth, Her Scars, once again by Bullet for My Valentine. I’ve never heard this song before but there’s a need to learn it.

I’m not going to keep playing Bullet song all the way. I’m going to try something old, like The Clash song. Lost in the Supermarket or London Calling would be some good songs to learn because of the complex bass line. That’s why Paul Simonon is one of my influences! Hopefully, The Clash songs don’t need the G string because my bass doesn’t support or contain it.

14 days of World of Warcraft have made me abandon blogging. So, you all shouldn’t blame me, blame World of Warcraft instead. And now, WOW trial is gone; I can focus back on my life and not busy leveling up or killing people.

Saying that, now I should be able to focus more on my bass. I’ve gotten my B strings and that means I can play Bullet for My Valentine! Other than Paul Simonon of The Clash, a new influence is Jason James of Bullet for My Valentine. Best say is that I like their style of playing and the word influence is a bit wrong and far to describe. Hearts Burst into Fire, I’m almost there and just need practice. Right now, Tears Don’t Fall I’m done except for the solo. So yeah, I’m ready to rock my house down!

I don’t know what’s up with me, but this few days or weeks; I’ve been trying to catch up with everyone life. Like 2 weeks back, I went out with the ex-primary school friends and really, there is so much things that have changes, the good and bad one as well. And yesterday, I stayed at the Azeela voiddeck in the night after her work just to catch up with things. It was a rather good hang out with lots of laughter. BUT, the bastard thing is that I tell her about my life and she got nothing to tell me about hers… This Saturday, hang out with Haneey and Izzah and not sure who. WE ARE GOING SHEESHAING! And of course I won’t sheesha…

And guess what? Today is GRADUAATIIOOOOONNNNN! That means I’m done with Republic Polytechnic! Today’s going to be a sad day for everyone because this is probably the last time we’re seeing each other. But the memory is staying inside here and here. Guess where lar people! :D
